Is my video secure ?
Your video is very secure. When you upload a master we store three separate copies on Microsoft’s Azure cloud and you can always access your content via Vidcoding wherever you are. We are able to offer a premium service which will see six copies of your Master held in different geographical regions around the world. We can also provide you with desktop access directly to your storage.
Contact Support for upgrade options.
How do I upgrade ?
You can upgrade at any time using the Manage Subscription option in your Profile (that’s the button in the top right hand corner). If you’re upgrading from a Free plan you will be asked to provide payment details.

How do I add my own encoding profiles ?
Get in touch with us to add your own encoding profiles. You can do this in three ways:
1) Provide us with the encode parameters in FFMPEG, HCL, FFMBC, etc…
2) Let us know who needs the content and we will implement their technical specification on your behalf (eg AS-11 for DPP for the BBC)
3) Tell us what you are trying to do and we’ll figure out the best profile for you.
What are your default encode profiles ?
Our default encode profiles use the MP4 container or file format with video in H.264 baseline and AAC audio at 1080p, 720p, 360p and 180p. An audio file in MP3 format is also generated. Actual data rates will vary depending on the file analysis undertaken by our encoders.
You can request the addition of any custom profiles at any time.
Can I create playlists ?
Vidcoding is not intended to be a video management platform, but you can utilise it with our enterprise video management system, VidZapper. It can also be integrated into any other video or content management system using a comprehensive API.
